The Role:
We are looking forÌýa 1st- 4th year Engineering – Fabrication ¸Ø½»ÊÓƵÌýto join our steel team in Blackburn. The successful applicants will be guided through their apprenticeship, learning new skills, and gaining knowledge and experience in residential and commercial stairbuilding and the construction industry.
Working with qualified and skilled engineers you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and support.Ìý
Duties will involve:Ìý
- Performing engineering measurementsÌý
- Apply welding principlesÌý
- Use workshop machines for basic operationsÌý
- Carry out mechanical cuttingÌý
- Apply principles of occupational health and safety in the work environmentÌý

- Current drivers’ licenceÌý
- Be a confident communicatorÌý
- Be able to undertake manual/physical workÌý
